Chick-fil-A Sauce Advertising Campaign

This advertising project aimed to market the Chick-fil-A signature sauce bottles that began nationwide sales in 2020. The approach taken by myself and fellow designer Joey Abe was to highlight the way that Chick-fil-A sauces have often been coveted by customers, with shortages even taking place that has left stores limiting the amount of sauce one can take. In a comical spin of this practice, we looked to advertise the bottled sauces as saviors to those that love Chick-fil-A dipping sauce.

The print designed for this campaign utilized simple imagery to communicate the lengths one may go through to obtain extra sauce packets, such as disguising oneself as different customers, going to different Chick-fil-A store locations, or even resorting to purchasing sauce packets online. Both the background and body copy go to further emphasize a literal approach to the phrase 'we've got you covered'.

The approach for the outdoor outputs went even further with the nonsensical via fake adverts aimed at Chick-fil-A sauce packet lovers. Taking a spin on the 'as seen on TV' adverts, we conceptualized sauce packet friendly products that are then 'covered' by the simple and practical solution of selling bottled versions of the brand's beloved sauce.
